Freeman Opportunity Damages — Red Volume 06¶
PART A — Purpose and Scope¶
Red Vol 06 ("Freeman Opportunity Damages") is the opportunity-loss damages model for the Freeman Street Studios plan and its disruption after the G21 flood/displacement period.
This page is the attorney-facing entry point to: - How Red Vol 06 is organized (governance vs. evidence vs. implementation) - Where scenario totals and reproducible math live - How to cite Red outputs in counsel work product without duplicating underlying schedules
Scope boundaries (discipline): - Red Vol 06 is an opportunity-loss model (Freeman-only). It is not the out-of-pocket / receipt-anchored schedule (see G21 Base Damages). - Red Vol 06 is governed centrally (Tabs 001–002). Category tabs (101–104) are evidence repositories and should not become competing calculators. - Web pages should quote only high-level ranges and routing guidance, with citations to Red tabs.
PART B — Quick Start (Recommended Reading Order)¶
B.1 15–25 minute counsel onboarding path (Red Vol 06 only)¶
-
Red Tab 000 — Executive Overview
"What Red is, what it isn't, and how it fits the binder." -
Red Tab 001 — Industry Validation Framework (Scenario Governance)
Establishes the scenario posture and the rule-set for category weights and multiplier application. -
Red Tab 002 — Mathematical Verification (REPL Appendix)
Single place to reproduce and verify the scenario totals from Tab 001. -
Then scan evidence tabs in chronological order:
Tab 101 (Major Label) → Tab 102 (Grammy) → Tab 103 (Corporate / Enterprise Partnerships) → Tab 104 (Investment Consortium)
Policy tabs 105–106 are referenced as governance (applied once).
B.2 Scenario totals (orientation only; do not recalculate here)¶
Red Tab 002 states the locked scenario ranges as:
- Conservative: $25.0M
- Moderate: $100.0M
- Aggressive: $200.0M (Maximum Documented Exposure)
(Source: Red Tab 002 — "Scenario ranges (locked)".)
Note: These totals are governed by Red Tab 001 and reproduced in Red Tab 002 for verification. The web portal should treat Tab 002 as the easiest citation-anchor for totals and integrity statements.
PART C — Red Vol 06 Structure (What Lives Where)¶
C.1 Governance (read first; cite from here)¶
| Tab | What it is | What counsel should use it for |
|---|---|---|
| 000 | Executive overview | Orientation; what questions Red answers |
| 001 | Industry validation framework + scenario model | The governing assumptions and "rules of the road" for Red's math |
| 002 | Mathematical verification (REPL appendix) | Reproducibility: weights, multiplier bands, and bridge formula |
C.2 Category evidence (weights only; no local math)¶
These tabs are designed as evidence repositories; they display category weight and route back to Tabs 001–002.
| Tab | Category | Weight | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 101 | Major Label Projects | 30% | Includes sub-tabs 101.1–101.9 for supporting materials |
| 102 | Grammy Opportunity | 15% | Includes sub-tabs 102.1–102.9 |
| 103 | Corporate / Enterprise Partnerships | 35% | Includes 103.1 (Exhibit Master Index & Collection Guide) |
| 104 | Investment Consortium | 20% | Includes 104.1 (Exhibit Master Index) |
(Source for weights and the "weights-only/no-math" rule: Red Tab 002.)
C.3 Policy multipliers (governed centrally; applied once)¶
Red Tab 002 states that policy multipliers are applied once at framework level, not repeatedly at category level.
| Tab | Policy | Role |
|---|---|---|
| 105 | Network Effects | Multiplier band policy; applied once |
| 106 | COVID Timing | Multiplier band policy; applied once |
(Source: Red Tab 002.)
C.4 Implementation / foundations¶
| Tab | What it is | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 201 | Infrastructure & technical foundation | Maps the system build and technical readiness concepts |
| 202 | Witness implementation guide | Operationalizes witnesses / validation pathways |
| 203 | Financial baselines | Baseline schedule references and implementation guardrails |
Registered / planned (not always present as stand-alone pages in every export): - 301 — Corporate Partner List (System 1–8) - 302 — Pipeline Timeline (2017–2025) - 303 — Anchor Witness Schedule
PART D — Where Totals Live and How to Cite (Practical)¶
D.1 "Source of truth" rules¶
- If you need a Red total, cite Tab 002 (verification appendix) and reference Tab 001 as the governing policy source.
- Do not sum category tabs (101–104) externally; those tabs are evidence repositories and weight labels.
- Do not apply policy multipliers more than once; Tab 002 explicitly treats them as framework-level.
D.2 Citation templates (copy/paste friendly)¶
Template 1 — Scenario total (Freeman only)
"Freeman opportunity-loss scenario total: $100.0M (Moderate), per Red Vol 06 Tab 002 (Mathematical Verification / REPL Appendix), governed by Tab 001."
Template 2 — Category weight (no dollars)
"Category weight per Red Vol 06 Tab 002: Corporate / Enterprise Partnerships (Tab 103) = 35%."
Template 3 — Evidence pointer (no math)
"Supporting materials are organized in Red Vol 06 Tabs 101–104 and their nested sub-tabs; underlying exhibits should be cross-cited to White Vol 07 WT-tabs where the source documents are stored."
