GUARDRAIL: RED — FREEMAN STREET DAMAGES
Freeman Street opportunity-loss damages only. No G21 base damages, no enterprise multipliers.
Navigation: ← Return to Tab 103 (Corporate Enterprise)
Quick Links:
- Parent page: Red Tab 103 — Corporate/Enterprise Partnerships — Category Evidence v3.3
- Companion: Red Tab 103.1.A — System Readiness Checklist — System Readiness Checklist (Eight Systems) v1.0
- Math governance: Red Tab 001 (Framework) and Red Tab 002 (Mathematical Verification)
LAYER 0: METADATA & SCOPE¶
Purpose. Master checklist and collection playbook for all EX- exhibits referenced in Tab 103 (Corporate/Enterprise Partnerships — 35% lane). Defines what each exhibit must contain, custody standards, foldering, filenames, integrity checks, and witness routing. Evidence-only. All calculations live in Tab 001 (Framework) and Tab 002 (REPL).
Context & alignment. Corporate lane anchors include Dolby Atmos room/speaker design approval (Sept 2024) and validator engagements across equipment, manufacturers, enterprise technology, network infrastructure, and distribution. Phrasing conforms to the Red corpus (e.g., "room/speaker design approval").
Companion documents (navigation):
- Tab 103 (parent evidence map and tier/witness overview).
- Tab 103.1.A (system readiness checklist; commissioning + evidence routing).
Navigation. Category order and binder flow mirror the Section Index (101 → 104). This page is nested under Tab 103 and feeds the Corporate parent and counsel artifact packs.
No local math. Corporate lane weight is 35% of the total; all dollar amounts and policy multipliers are centralized in Tab 001/002.
Exhibit Count: 25 exhibits across 6 tiers + pre-flood documentation.
LAYER 1: CALCULATION REFERENCE¶
CALCULATION REFERENCE
=====================
Parent Tab: Tab 103 (Corporate/Enterprise — 35% Allocation)
All Financial Calculations: Tab 001 (Framework) & Tab 002 (REPL)
This Page: Evidence collection & custody guide — no local calculations
Scenario Totals (Freeman-only): $25.0M / $100.0M / $200.0M (policy multipliers applied once at framework level). See Tab 001/002.
Exhibit Count: 25 (was 21 in v3.1)
Rationale: Maintains Red's calculation discipline and matches Section control.
LAYER 2: EVIDENCE FRAMEWORK (WHAT TO CAPTURE, WHERE TO FIND IT)¶

LAYER 4: LEGAL FOUNDATION¶
Legal Authorities¶
- Contemporary Mission Corp. v. Famous Music Corp., 557 F.2d 918 (2d Cir. 1977) — Substantial probability standard.
- Schonfeld v. Hilliard, 218 F.3d 164 (2d Cir. 2000) — Lost profits from prevented business relationships.
- Kenford Co. v. County of Erie, 67 N.Y.2d 257 (1986) — Reasonable certainty for consequential damages.
Application: This page operationalizes authentication and chain-of-custody so Corporate validators can be presented as investment-grade, third-party confirmations (technical + business). That evidentiary posture supports substantial probability/reasonable certainty without local dollar calculations (all math in Tab 001/002).
